Teaser Tuesday (3)

Teaser Tuesdays are a meme hosted by Mizb of Should be Reading. Here are the rules if you wish to participate.

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser
Here is my weeks teaser:

I sat on the lower bed and stared out of the bars, which made up one whole wall of the cell. All I could see, on the other side of the giant pit, were more cells and more prisoners, their grey faces a reflection of my own.

  2. Fascinating cover--interesting teaser, sounds creepy.

Stopping by from TT. We have 3 this week: a family secrets book, an Amish romance and a suspense: http://ourstack.blogspot.com/2011/03/teaser-tuesday-bird-house-wanted.html

  4. Very good teaser. I will check it out. Looking at all those teassers only makes my tbr pile longer! So many books, so less time to read, so less space to keep!

Here is my Teaser Tuesday: Out At Night by Susan Arnout Smith post!
